My friend Scott’s cat had kittens right as I was starting High School, so of course I talked my Mom into letting me take one. I’m showing my age, but that was in fall of 1994. I named her Doobie, which most people assume is a drug reference, but was actually a rat pack singing Doobie Doobie Dooo thing. If you oldies like me remember the commercial with the penguin who called people and sang it heh that played at the time and made me laugh and I loved Dean Martin. Anyways, my baby who had huge personality as you can see from this pic, passed away yesterday. I lost my Isabelle recently so that makes it hard, however my doobers lead a long happy life.
